KOBWA Participated in the Temvelo Awards, Held at Happy Valley Hotel, Ezulwini on the 24th of August 2023

KOBWA staff paying attention to the proceedings of the event.

The Ministry of Tourism and Environmental Affairs of Eswatini invited the Komati Basin Water Authority to partner with the Ministry in hosting this strategic event for the benefit of the country in the attainment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals relevant to the Ministry.

This event is targeting government entities; NGOs; Individuals; Corporates and other varied sectors. The day was featuring presentations by various local and international champions from different sectors. climaxing with the Awards Gala in the evening.

The outcome of the elaborate process of the Awards always informs the Ministry and its agencies of the environmental awareness and practice status which then influences policy reform and improvement. Through the experiences and initiatives of others, more organizations and individuals get encouraged to strive for best practice.

Therefore, KOBWA won the Blue Conservation Award for an enterprise that has done water harvesting in large scale for a long time.
