Business Development

The Business Development Department drives KOBWA’s growth, sustainability, and stakeholder value by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening strategic partnerships, and promoting socio-economic development within its area of operation. Through business development and community engagement initiatives, the Department fosters strong relationships with governments, communities, investors, and other stakeholders while supporting economic empowerment, job creation, and sustainable livelihoods.

It also oversees the Community Development Unit, which ensures meaningful stakeholder participation, community engagement, and corporate social responsibility programmes that enhance social cohesion, address community needs, and maximize the positive impact of KOBWA’s operations. By aligning commercial objectives with sustainable development goals, the Department contributes to long-term organisational success, community well-being, and sustainable growth.
